It can be simultaneously be true that some of his more vocal opponents support things like hereditarianism & erroneously conflate genetics with race [1], and there is also a case to answer in terms of this individuals scholarship. [1] The social concepts of race doesn't actually map to meaningful genetically distinct pools - and to believe so, despite the clear scientific evidence to the contrary, shows a questionable attachment to the social concept of race. |
