As an AAPL shareholder, I find this baffling. In Q2, Nvidia had $58b in net income while Apple had $29b. Nvidia is growing 70% - 200% YoY in net income compared to Apple's 10-15%. Nvidia also has a $1 trillion+ backlog. Apple's PE is 40+ while Nvidia's is 30 but the growth rates between the two are oceans apart. Yes, I get that Apple's revenue appears to be more stable because it has a long history but all of Apple's devices, including the iPhone, will get a massive hit in rising RAM and wafer prices. I think Apple is overvalued and Nvidia is very undervalued, coming from an AAPL shareholder. Wallstreet is already pricing in a decline for Nvidia but even with a decline, Nvidia will make way more money than Apple. It's hard for me to fathom a drop in AI demand. This year, I must be using 1000x more tokens than I did at the same time in 2025. |
