Well, thats one of the use cases. Groups photos, surfaces memories, and does a lot more.

Its built for personal use more so- floats automatic album suggestions, floats memories from photos - "On this day x years ago", shows all photos as a pinpoints in a map, and the best feature - Semantic search.

You can search with whats in the image- beach, ocean, sea - all of them yield same results. So even with a vague memory, you can get to the photos that actually matter. Say- a photo of grandma back in 2018 at a wedding... and so on. Search combines people, places, objects & time. You can say "Me and Mom, 2015 at the beach" & we find the right photo for you.

You point Smriti to a harddrive containing all your photos, and get this out of the box. No uploads, no signup etc.
