If you could post the properly compiled paint.com I would imagine there would be more people willing to give it a try.
Maybe even open your final working paint.com file in a text editor and save it as a text file, then upload it as (non-human-readable) text to dpasta to accompany the source you have shown already.
That would be so fast I could tell you how it works when booted to a floppy on bare metal already :)
I'm glad you came back with that but the rar does seem to be defective, Winrar won't open it and the Linux Archive Manager opens it but shows no file inside the archive to extract.
