What I could do if the problem were length is to reduce them further, but at that point people may be forced to access the original for the details. Maybe it would be better if the site developers considered having a special space for those things, in some ways - e.g. an automated "pin to the bottom". It is a video: a crucial resource in these times, requiring probably further "tools and devices" from HN (born when video resources were not as important as they are today) - specifying the channel, a proper space for the abridgement (edit: abridgement and not just transcript, since abridgements have "original" modifications that differentiate them from copying)... Downvoting is not symmetrical to upvoting - upvoting can easily just mean "I agree", but in the opposite case details are generally required.
