I don’t really get why this gets so much hate. Seems like this is the era of Eurohate.

I think it is great that people get asked for their opinion, why not.

It's a waste of resources to make something that exists worse.

In the big picture, the amount of resources poured into this contest is probably close to 0%.

Also why worse? Some great designs out there.

The existing designs are fine, are they not? Even if they only spent a single Euro on all of this, which I doubt, it would still be a wasted Euro.
