While I doubt the benefit of small differences to signal the absolute value (sure, you can feel that one is bigger, but that is it 10 vs 5 bigger or 50 vs 20 bigger?), especially compared to other more helpful direct signs like the raised print, I'm not suggesting eliminating that. But I'm suggesting varying the desin of both the absolutes (e.g., I'd prefer all of them to be smaller) and the variability (e.g, what about making the most used first 3 notes significantly different length for the easiest differentiation: 1/3, 2/3, 3/3) instead of just playing with some pics. |
