The main benefit of Brexit is that the EU is now able to use English as a neutral universal language which is both commonly-known and doesn't favor any individual member state. Clearly the best choice would've been to extend this and put British buildings or British historical people on the next generation of Euro notes. It would favor no EU country, so clearly it is the most neutral option. /s |

Ireland was a signatory to the Maastricht Treaty, but once again we are reminded of the need to equally consider smaller nations when discussing EUwide matters ;-)
And I don't think Brexit had any benefits. They already don't use the Euro so they can do weird neoliberal wonk stuff to their heart's contents, and they have nukes so we'll be feeding them one way or another so why worry? (That's what we've taught the world by letting NK get them BTW.)
