So I live in Canada -- Alberta specifically -- a province that's going to be having a referendum in this coming fall on separating from Canada. The provincial government is corrupt and has ties to the Republicans and the separatists are obviously funded and enabled by them as well.[0]

I see what the Americans did in Venezuala, I see they plan to do to Greenland, and I see what's going on around me here in Alberta.

What do I do? I don't mean that as a rhetorical question, it's a genuine open question -- What are my/our options at this juncture?

The American people don't seem to be able or willing to get a handle on this guy and the oligarchs who have aligned around him to put him into power. When I look at the American people I don't see a people who can organize to resist this. I don't see system with people in power who can put a stop to this. I don't see as sort of substantial pushback to this stuff.

So it'll just keep going, and going, and going until it collapses. Will they take me down with them?

What do I do?
