You vote against them when they're up for re-election. If they're not up for re-election, you vote against anyone who allies themselves with said person.

So main driver is frustration? Why not remove immunity to electorate and keep them responsible for their decisions?

Or, even better, don't give our responsibility to uknown electorate at all.
