Are they going to switch to plastic while they're at it?

That's the only thing I'll miss if Romania ever switches to Euro. Cash you can launder. Literally.

Paper cash is made from cotton fiber, it easily survives the washing machine.
Not in my experience... but then I haven't had "paper" cash since 200x (small x).

I assumed everywhere except the USA had converted to plastic... It's so much better.
