I admit to not listening to radio anymore but I was surprised to hear that there are still some music stations with local DJ's in Vancouver.

This article also claims that radio is slowly gaining listeners.

i suspect there is a fairly large group of people who still listen to the radio---but only in the car. Once they park the car, radio ceases to exist.
