That’s quite unusual as the connection was specifically designed to sacrifice the cable rather than the port (unfortunately mini-A was the opposite which, when coupled with a small insertion lifetime, was pretty terrible). I’m sure you’ve tried changing cables so you’ve had bad luck. I’m sorry for you, but you’re unlikely to have this happen again with another device |
