For ever 1000$ sold in the music industry, the artist gets 20$. I don't see how you see the "middle men" portion ridiculous. The music scene would be optimized for musicians if there was a 100% piracy/distribution rate and artists sold their own tickets/merch/ringtones/etc online. |
