If you watch streamers, there are going to be Vtubers on the same platform recommended to you.

Are you going to discard/ignore those streams because the streamer is more privacy concious and doesn't show their face, and instead uses an avatar?

Yes, actually. If I wanted to watch a streamer it would be due to the human element they bring. An avatar doesn't bring that.
