Plenty of high-profile cemeteries do, Highgate Cemetery in London for example charges a fee despite just being a normal (if high-profile) cemetery. The French don't charge for access to Père-Lachaise however, which is the rough equivalent in Paris. St. Paul's in London has tombs in it, and it charges a fee! It's a super normal practice. How else could you manage the amount of people who would go? |
