Those are killer salaries for the ones not in the US. Imagine earning $160k USD in Morocco, Nigeria or Panama. 99.9th percentile.

There is a well funded US company that pays the same rate to everyone regardless of where they live (or at least did when I interviewed with them several years ago). Unfortunately when I received the offer it was too low to consider vs my other offers because I had no plans to move out of the States but the company had employees living like kings and queens in Vietnam and similar countries
It looks like it's a base and then they calculate cost of living rather than base your salary on the local cost of labor.

That's pretty decent. DuckDuckGo I think just gives a flat value to everyone.
