While I don't hate Rust (even have a couple of private projects written in Rust, and plan to use it in the future also), I wouldn't really call it fun, as a personal opinion. I find Rust code usually pretty ugly, and some of the abstractions can make it challenging to understand.
Compared to it, C is plain and simple. I still find more joy in writing C code - though for some goals it isn't my first choice. |

But from what Greg Kroah‑Hartman said, it sounds like Linux has too many dev contributers anyway, so they won't miss my contributions going into the future and I won't have to program in Rust. Win-win!
