You are absolutely mistaken.
You have no rights whatsoever to question what a person is willing to put into an open source project. That's called being entitled and ungrateful. Perhaps look in the mirror and see who's the real jerk.
If you still have doubts, look at the social engineering and emotional manipulation in the xz incident.
Re $200: give me one example where $200 of LLM credit "saved" an open source project.
