What developed societies really need to figure out right now is how to distribute the already available resources without making people miserable, and so far AI hasn't been helpful.

Those are big, solvable problems that can benefit almost everybody. Your problem is just with humans themselves, which is not something I want AI to "solve".

I'd like AI to stay at the frontier of humans vs nature, not humans vs humans.
