Lower up-front cost and hardware longevity are the two major ones. Whenever GTA VI launches on PC, good luck running it on your $500 PC from 2020.

Eh, I think you’ll be able to match it close enough between upscaling and the very low bar for console graphics. If consoles are a low/medium preset at like 1080P, most computers can hit that.

Upgrading to a 3070 is $150 to $200 depending on eBay pricing, an amount you could easily save over a few Steam discounts compared to buying games at full retail.
