Personally I moved off it because I couldn't take apple's decisions anymore. Opinionated software only works if you don't have any opinions yourself or if those happen to align with the developer's.

In the case of macOS they did at first in the tiger age but got more and more skewed as they made macOS more of a fancy iOS.

I also can't deal with the new keyboards. Too little travel. Even after they moved off the butterfly adventure back to scissor keys. They're still not good enough for me.
