I wonder if anyone at microsoft is feeling at all worries about news like this, or if all the people that would have worried about stuff like this have been let go and replaced by overseas workers
Overseas workers are passionate as well, but I suspect they realise this is inevitable at this point. The erosion started with servers and will trickle down to the users eventually. Their money is in hosted services now, SharePoint, Office, VDIs (accessed via Linux thin clients), and Active Directory, with or without a direct association with their cloud offerings. They also appear to expect to use AI to drive more revenue, but they might have realised that won’t happen.
