US should be split up so it can't do any more damage to the world. Americans can't be trusted with putting that much power in the hands of a few people anyway.
China and Russia would love that. It would also be very bad for European security that is mostly guaranteed by U.S. strength and willingness to fight wars.
I wasn’t aware of that but it looks like he is upset that Spain won’t meet its defense spending commitments for NATO. Which goes back to my point about how the EU is totally reliant on the US for security. Europe’s biggest threat is itself, they won’t even do the bare minimum to ensure their security.
US would spend that money regardless of what Europe spent as they want to continue to use it to oppress and destroy the world. And the real reason they want us to spend more is to buy more weapons from them.
Some arbitrary threshold set by a completely demented US president (25% of government budget or whatever nonsense that idiot asked NATO peers to spend, probably on american mil. tech) has nothing to do with how european countries would/are able to defend themselves.
