It is quite inevitable that things like this happen whenever a big, soulless corporation ends up buying people who unique set of skills and talent. Similar thing is happening in other areas of the industry, where companies like Vercel, Anthropic, OpenAI just keep buying companies and it is really hard to find a case where things turned out well. |
