These pills are like low level meth. I was prescribed stimulants at a young age...it's like a lifelong commitment. You're a potato without them and completely useless once you become dependent. I am so grateful to not be on any of these medications anymore. But it was one of the hardest years of my life getting off them. It took me a good 18 months to feel like a human again and feel productive. They are totally addictive, and doctors should take lots of care and caution when prescribing these things... especially in developing children. Just my two cents. |
