+1 on C. I actually started reading it back to front and have been having much more fun.

I do too, I picked that idea up from HN. I often don’t get to the front for three or four weeks which makes the news part interesting. Last week I read a piece from early in the Iran/US war and it was telling me I wouldn’t be able to buy petrol by then but the reality was prices were already falling off.
If you read it consistently you soon realize that every article has a short form summary in the front and long form article in the back, and sometimes a mid size as well, in the same edition.
Obituary first?
That obituary will be on the cover.
and if its on the cover chances are you won't need to even see the mag since everyone everywhere will be talking about it
The obituary is not for learning who has died, but for getting to read an interesting article about them.
