Except they themselves cannot afford it and as the article also mentioned, their level of service and uptime is atrocious for the price they are offering. Their unpredictable pricing model is designed to make it easy for you to lose more money without you knowing. Unannounced model switching, nerfing old/new models, classifiers detecting 'unsafe' instructions to downgrade the selected model and overcharging API prices and locking subscriptions to a broken vibe-coded harness. You don't get anything by defending Anthropic, given their past behavior. |
