Congressional oversight doesn't mean much here, since the CCP also serves that role. The real problem is that, even though US is, in practice, a de-facto two-party between democrats and republicans, the PRC is a de-facto one-party system. There's also the overall opportunities for change and revolution that US society provides, that are absent in the PRC. |
