Agreed. It's especially frustrating to read of extremely high standard (even though justified, I'm not suggesting it's OK to have a subpar experience) while most people just share everything and anything on Facebook, TikTok, SharePoint, etc and have no idea what permissions even mean. So... yeah, sure, e2ee and encryption and all that but don't wait on perfection when the otherwise situation is pretty dire. It's only encroaching BigTech fueled by surveillance capitalism even more! |
