Very cool finding. If it holds up even at a reduced factor when applied for to a whole pack, it could still result in a big improvement in cell life. That would make BESS more attractive and possibly the TCO of high milage applications like trucks. I wonder if you even retrofit a battery storage installation with something around the pack to up the pressure and get a benefit. |
