Ordering a main, a side, and a drink isn't really "working to reach it". Your original post was insinuating that the OP or their friend lied about the cost and I was just demonstrating that it's quite plausible to reach it.

First, you ordered them a la carte, because using the combo price (as almost any actual buyer would do) would undermine your point.

And then you ordered an amount of calories greater than the recommended amount for an adult for the entire day. Sure, some people eat that, but is that remotely a useful metric to answer the question of what it costs the typical family of three to eat at Popeye’s? No.
