It was a pretty inherently expansionist ideology. Even if you skip over that, the same idiocy that got them into an unwinnable war with half the world applied elsewhere. I doubt the good times would have lasted either way. In any case, regardless of inevitability, I think it's important to remind people that the Nazis as they actually happened were a disaster for virtually everyone in Germany, just to preempt any statements about the Nazis actually being good for certain groups. |
