Credit where credit is due: Mr. Trump does a good job of showing the world why you should not give the state too powerful surveillance systems. The problem is not if you have done something ethically wrong ('I have nothing to hide'), but if you can trust the people who will have control over those systems in the future. Who will be in control in 10 years? |
