There are some steps in the good direction: https://digital-strategy.ec.europa.eu/en/news/commission-sel... A consortium will train a 400B-class model and get 2.5% on time of the EuroHPC infrastructure (~2000 PFLOPS datacenters). So, even if the Chinese take away the open source there will be some models. Probably not Mythos quality yet though. |
