They don't care. They only care about the metrics they were told to meet. They were told reduce headcount and use AI. So that's what they do and they have a spreadsheet to justify the numbers. A lot of times, in management, your goals are conflicting. You're only choice is to maximize them as best you can. If you don't your successor will. |
