Slack has enterprise features and billing. Discord does not.

People use Teams only because it's basically free when you get the M365 suite for your company, not because it's good or usable in any way.

No, Teams is just better product. It handle large video meetings, has build in recording and calendar integration. Authentication is seamless and handling many workspaces is better. Slack is only better in chat interface.
