For many it probably has a negative effect on their life and their single vote is unlikely to ever make a difference. Plus people watching the media don’t consume in some objective fashion. Almost everyone just gets stuck in an echo chamber which reinforces reinforces their view rather than making them more informed. They might actually be less informed. |
