It depends what you mean by "it". We were discussing how people style their own property, which, yes, is largely a matter of taste.

For some reason, you keep trying to shift the discussion to vandalizing someone else's property, which you don't own.

I have neighbors that let invasive, aggressive weeds take over their lawns, to the point where they try to make it to mine, and I will spend the rest of my days either beating them back or succumbing to them.

That's life when you're HOA-free, though. Sought that out. They can do what they want with their property, more power to them. Maybe they like it, maybe it's water smart, maybe they just don't feel like weeding. At least they're nice people :)
