it's a reasonable-sounding inference (if your only context is that there's a "new" Media Player and it's taking more memory) that doesn't apply in this particular case.

A joke can be "funny because it's true"

This is just a pointer on how not to sound like Sheldon from TBBT or like Claude Opus 4.8 with thinking set to Max in casual conversation.

Not saying it's better though.
