Bro. Come off it. Absolutely no one thought that caligula appointing a horse to the Senate was a good idea (apocryphal as it is). Everyone thought that Aurelian's reforms were great. They let caligula's debauchery happen, and killed Aurelian over his reforms for exactly the same reason. Corruption. |
