Because no one wants Elons opinions in their vibe coded app. And also that the data isnt used against ZDR or other reasons on cutting corners as XAi is more desperate than other labs.

Whether its true or not its the perception, so people avoid the model.

They've also not figured out networking Fabric yet so the models are poor

SpaceXAI is totally fine since they own the Colossus data centers which turned out to be under-utilized.

It is a good problem to have. They bought too many GPUs and Grok runs on 10% of their total GPU allocation.

Meaning they have plenty of capacity to provide compute to other companies like Anthropic which there is a high demand for compute.
