Ask HN: How to stop your coding agent from creating just AI slop for the UI/UX?

Coding agents are increasingly taking over tasks for us, but ui/ux is still something that just keeps looking like plain ai slop. I am sure theres ways to solve this, how??

Tell Claude to use its web design skill and give you 10 styles to choose from. Point it to a style you like.

Give it a reference (e.g. a screenshot) or a design inspiration. You have to explicitly tell LLMs what you don't want, they are not mind-readers.
