As an American, this whole thing has been so disappointing. I donate to candidates who both oppose this stuff and win, so I think I'm doing my part well, and I think in two years we'll improve things. But in the meantime I'm sorry!

I know I know. I think most people wouldn't blame any one individual American voter. This specific issue isn't even left vs right in any case.
