Frank Herbert had one of his characters (Jorge McKie, in Herbert's best book "The Dosadi Experiment") say that "Eternal sloppiness is the price of liberty". George Orwell wrote something similar. How do we reconcile this view with yours? |

Without AI we assume current technology is perfect for allowed actions and still implement some controls and monitor it. With AI, we will have to assume that it will make mistakes, drift, hallucinate...so what liberty are we giving it ? I think that is the essential question every organization has to answer for implementing their AI.
