You could just ask an AI for recommendations. As for low-cost providers, check out Netcup, OVHcloud, or Contabo.

if you search for the DACH location - they offer hardware servers as well als VPS starting at around 4€/month.

I second this, been with them for 6 years. Very reliable and transparent and the owner still answers emails himself
