Thanks for the kind words, bud! Thanks! It started as a self-imposed challenge and turned into the most fun part of the whole project. The visuals are all done two ways: Godot's _draw() for the 2D stuff, and a few GLSL shaders for the full-screen effects. Audio is the same philosophy: all ~15 sound effects are synthesized at runtime from sine/square waves plus noise, and the music is generated too. The unexpected upside of going fully procedural: everything can react for free. :P |
