Regarding #2: They might, yes, and it might be easier for a lot of people to contribute monetarily, rather than spend the time learning enough about VLC to be able to submit code. And yes, the next version of the OS may break everything, but that's life in the big city - operating systems evolve, upgrades need to be written. |
