Yeah lets compare the world now to a world pre rise of Japan, East Asia and China. Im sure less European imtegration would have resulted in Euro dominance continuing. I agree more bilateral agreements are good but having even more fragmented markets is not and was not a long term model of sucess. It was simply easier back then, less competition. |
