So many websites do this, it's basically the norm. On mobile Safari you can use "hide distracting items" to get rid of it. Alternatively, add and use a "kill sticky" bookmarklet, which is useful in many other situations. You can modify the bookmarklet to re-enable scrolling if that got disabled by a paywall/regwall. |
